Lovely, balanced pictures, each a winner. Very pleasing to look at.
I can easily switch to and fro from appreciating and enjoying the aesthetic of black and white and colour photos (as you've presented so well) but find it impossible to quickly switch when taking them. How did you manage this in Munich? Alas, for me when taking, it's either one or the other.

Thanks for the comments folks
I tend to shoot and 'see' in B+W. I set the screen on my camera to show in B+W too as I think it helps identify exposure.
I'll use colour only now and then, when the situation permits, and I normally decide during development in Lightroom.
I tend to look for texture when I shoot, and some textures come out better in colour. More often than not, though, I use the same B+W setting.

Really, really nice photos. Nicely composed.
Munich is my favorite walking and photo city. My son lives in Munich - I'll be there May/June for a 5 week visit.
Thanks for posting.

These are fantastic, I love the taxi and stairs photos. I spent a week in Berlin and I don't have single photo that I like nearly as much. I guess I need to go back and try again.

Thanks Brian for the kind comment. I think I got lucky - I was travelling with my school, with 33 kids in tow, so I didn't have much time to compose and wait for shots to work out (such as pic #1 which I planned in my head) - everything just came together timing wise.
