Dirk, as always, you make every lens shine. The E46 Summilux is fantastic...wish I had one of my 2 copies still LOL... I am slowly builing my collection of 50's now....

This is wonderful. The composition, the sense of motion, heck, even the grain. Superb.

Wow Ashwin - I absolutely love the concept of the first shot!
It turned out beautifully!

The E46 is my attempt of reducing the selection of different 50mm lenses by adding another one … let's see, how this logic works out … (this one is silver chrome, but I actually crave after a black paint one, which I intend to love and keep until the end of days).
+1 re: Ashwin!

Dirk, the BP is awesome, gorgeous, and focuses like silk! however, it can get pretty heavy by the end of the day because of the all-brass build... i find myself wondering if the E43 Asph might be the way to go instead... just a head's up.

Congrats on the show Allen!
Dave, the last shot with the girl through the car window is great!

Cam, the BP E46 should be pretty much identical to the silver chrome version, except, that it becomes your own lens gradually, while the silver chrome one never really ages.

Both are slightly lighter than the 50/1, so weight isn't an issue - I am over it, lugging a full bag of lenses around- haha.

I didn't like the 50 Summilux ASPH and sold mine some years ago after getting hooked with older glass. It's just too perfect.

Here is one with one of me favourite lenses of late - 16 ƒ8 Hologon:

Nice portrait Dirk and thanks. Now all I have to do is finish printing, mounting, cutting mats and framing. Then hanging the show in the space to give it a flow.

Watched the rest of the videos Yesterday - great stuff, especially the two about how one sees the world throughout the finder and selects which frame to choose with the same tools, all the others have available and his moment of life change after meeting Robert Frank - truly interesting clips to not miss.

Went this morning for a short walk:

Love it mosier and really like both series menos.

I got to meet Mererowitz at a lecture where he spoke and showed his work in the 1980s. I think Red Heads was his latest project at the time.

Thanks Allen and Dave!

I don't have spent much time, educating myself about photographic history and famous photographers, but the little, I have seen Meyerowitz I always liked the depth and picturesque speeches, he did on camera. He has got something to say and truly loves photography passionately (+he is not one of those old grumpy men, not wanting to get asked about his stuff).

Dave, I am new with wide angle lenses - it's immense fun, to play around with them and experiment with new stuff! I really admire people, who actually use them well, as it's so damn hard, to get your framing well - seems, one has to shoot a 21 for a few decades, to understand that focal length!
Apart from the technical difficulty, starting to learn this, I find it great fun, how you automatically get closer and closer every shot!

Mosier, you really got something for portraits - you got a website, one could visit?
