Mike, nice shot of the Honda CB-750. It looks just like the one I bought new in 1970, same color, stock pipes etc. I did not have the chrome grab handle for the passenger. Put a fairing on, painted to match, and rode it for many miles and fun road trips. As I further recall, it was a pain to synchronize (with vacuum gauges) the four carbs that were activated through individual cables.

Thanks, Doug, it is a beauty of a bike. Did you own a Moto Guzzi too? This one was parked next to the Honda.

The motorcycle that changed it all. In the process it slowed H-D to almost a complete halt and ended the British bike business. How? By building a better bike. The Super Hawk, CB-77, was the opening shot, fast, nimble and it lasted, held a tune and did not leak oil. That 750 made big bikes available for everybody, and again, they were fast, nimble and did not leak oil. The did stretch a lot of chains at first but that was fixed. Still a great bike. The trend setter. Honda knows engines.
