Password issue resolved??? Please validate

All, I have been trying to work on the password issues after the migration and I think there is a fix in place now.

You should be able to log in with your old rff password. I did it using a test account and it worked. Please validate.

Also, if you get in update your email to a current and valid one if the one you have is old. Otherwise password reset will never reach you.

Good Grief.. When I read '...old password...' I used my 'current' which is more than 18 months old. No Go....ooops.
My new name , of same vintage, allowed me to change my password
When I read the e-mail my log-in name was not quite "beyond living memory". But Successful.

I had no problems resetting my password for the new rff board. As an aside, the new rff looks and feels great!

No luck here. Can't log in with old account name and password and won't let me reset password.

Failed for me too. Was able to reset with "Forgot your password" (when I eventually located it) using the last password that I have recorded.

The password reset worked flawlessly. Luckily, I am not a Robot, even if it is hard to prove.

No luck using my old username (Glenn2) and previous password to login.
The email that was used when I registered long ago can no longer be accessed so very hard to do a reset.

I have a problem in that the email address that I used on my profile is not available now so I can't update and validate or what ever else I needed to do to get my profile going. I created a new me and hope that when all the fur is done flying I can get the old me up and running again. Mean time I have a much more dignified ID than "Darthfeeble".

Oh this is frustrating. For those of you who have setup 2nd accounts, I may be able to merge the old accounts with the new one so all your previous posts get transferred. Let me look into that.

Came back today, it liked my name but not my "correct" password...clicked on "forgot my password", proved I wasn't a Robot then reset my password.
I stayed away for a couple days, giving time for things to switch over...so far, so good but I haven't looked all around yet.

Can you reset the passwords for those people who are not able to do it themselves, and send them the new password so they can get into their old accounts? Maybe just have anyone who wants to do this send you a current email and the old account name.

Hopefully, once they have access to their old accounts they can immediately reset the passwords to one of their liking and all problems should be solved.

I was unable to log in with my old password and requesting a reset didn't result in any email, over and over and over again. I was also unable to access both the Classifieds and the Gallery. After a couple days of this, I had the idea of turning off my ad blocker, uBlock Origin, for this site. Now, everything works! I have full access to the Gallery and Classifieds, and I tried the password reset one more time, with my ad blocker disabled, resulting in an immediate reset email, no problem!
