It's showing an MC lens, which wouldn't function reliably in shutter-priority mode on the XD. It would be fine for metered manual and aperture-priority, however. (Is that the lens you're referencing, or did you mount another lens on the SR-T 102 for the photo?)

In an unprecedentedly stupid move I have decided to start a thread called 'Show us your SLR' ... on a rangefinder forum!

If I might respectfully offer a correction:
The SR-T 102 was made between 1973 and 1975. All SR-T 101 and 102 cameras came with MC lenses.
The SR-T 201 and 202 were introduced in 1975, and these came with MC lenses until 1977.
MD lenses were introduced with the XD line of cameras in 1977, as the lenses required upgrades to work with shutter-priority automation, as well as the later full program-auto.
Personally, I like the more robust, higher-quality mechanics of the MC lenses, but for full functionality with an XD camera, MD lenses are a must.

To paraphrase a certain person, “it all depends on what the meaning of the is”.
So, my fault. What I should have written in my post above is: “I think the SRT-102 (referring to the particular one he bought rather than that model in general) came with an MD lens (mounted on it for the sale).”
So what we’ve got is someone offering an SRT-102 for sale with an MD lens on it for some reason, and our poster really wanted just the lens for his XD. So… the camera is considered a bonus.

Heading out with praktica L2 with 50mm and 30mm lenses and orange and red filters for superpan to get an IR effect. Testing a new sekonic l-28 A2 also. Pictured with a soft case which is good. Bought the L2 on impulse and sometimes toy with selling it, but keep it as it was quite cheap, would not sell for much and delivers good results.. Lacks finesse but very reliable and good viewfinder.

The first generation L cameras going up to LTL3/L2 series are probably the most reliable Praktica M42 cameras. After that quality control went walkies....

I'm not sure why to put this, and didn't want to create a new topic. I'm in the market for a Nikkormat. Found this listing on ebay, seems reasonably tested and confirmed accurate meter. Should I go for it? Price seems a little high but shipping is included.

It looks in good condition and you can return it if there is a fault that has not been disclosed. Nikkormats are good cameras although big and heavy and many of them suffer from bad meters. You can't go wrong with these late 60s/early 70s mechanical cameras. Regarding the price, it is a good price only if you are willing to pay for it.

That looks good to me - that they tested the shutter speeds, meter (including top meter display), plus self-timer, mirror lock-up, and DOF preview, that tells me they know this camera.
At $89, I’d jump at it. Nikkormats are highly undervalued today. They are bargains because they are so well built.
As I stated elsewhere, a few years ago:
FT2 Nikkormat is the best of all worlds.
The FT2 takes modern batteries, earlier Nikkormats do not. There are modern batteries that work in it: simple 1.5v silver oxide.
In my FT2, the meter matches my Sekonic L-308S every time and has done so in every situation for over a year.
The FT2 meters wide open with both pre-AI and AI lenses, the FT3 requires stop-down with pre-AI.
Also has:
* mirror lock-up
* convenient depth-of-field preview
* self-timer
* shutter speed visible in viewfinder
