Very cool! Which lens did you use the most?

I'm going to tibet next year. I think I will take some color pictures there, and I am still think whether I should bring my leica with color films or to buy a digital camera (Probably D80).

Thanks Jeff, I mostly used 25mm biogon for color and 50mm planar for BW, I just used 35mm and 21 only once :) anyhow, I had D200 with me and had F6 but I have to admit, I can not use SLR cameras anymore, they are too heavy to big and very noisy :)

Did you speak the local language? Was this a personal vacation? If so, how difficult was it to get access to all the places / events that you captured?

I'm suprised this thread got little attention, but then again, I'm not surprised that it got little attention when it has to compete with the lens recommendation, bokeh comparison, and the proverbial "remind ourselves why we love our RF cameras and laugh at the DSLR users" thread....

And they're great...:)
No shots of the insane traffic though...? ;) You must have had a ride in one of the Ambassadors?

Can you tell us some more of the background to your trip - work, leisure etc - ?

It may sound trite but thanks for sharing...and keep em coming.

:)

I am really impressed by the color in slide film. I have never shot any slide film since I have only shot in B/W.. I may have to try it...!!!

Great shots - I travelled through Rajastan and Mumbai in '99 and loved it. I'd kill to go back... You've done a great job of capturing the feel of the place which isn't always easy as things can be quite chaotic. In other words, you've done an enviable job of keeping your frames "clean."

Vladimir: As others have said, there are a lot of terrific photos posted, I'm anxious to see more. The two that struck me immediately are this one and this one.

Those ZM lenses are really, really nice. And the metering seems to be very good.

Wow, there are some amazing photos in there. India has always been a place I'd like to visit. So far, I've never even left the US :(

Anyways, thank you very much for posting, I really enjoyed these!

I am also very curious to know the answers to these questions. :)

Some really great shots Vladimir! Thanks for sharing them. THIS one is my favourite. I know you said Kodak and Fuji, but specifically which slide films were you using?
