Dpreview just posted their in-depth review of the Pentax k10D. Curious conclusion. It's rated as 'Highly Recommended (just).' I haven't read it yet, but sticking the 'just' designation on it means I'll be pouring through it. Kind of like getting a A-. Hmmm...

What focal length would a 50mm lens mounted on the K10D?

I'm sure you've figured this out already but ???mm x 1.5.

I'm also thinking about picking up a K10D sometime in the new year.

lots of bells and whistles on this with the shake reduction and all, but the *ist DL is a proven workhorse.

In any case, you'll have a body that mounts some of the best lenses available, and possibly a great weather/dust proof body.
