Hello !

I ordered a Bessa R2A and a 50mm Nokton today, thanks to these great forums and you guys the decision was easy.... This is my first rangefinder and i hope i'll get to post some pics soon. I have never developed any film, so it will be a whole new experience.

This is the man who will be teaching me some stuff, a czech regisseur, he even knew Koudelka personally. Greetings from Switzerland, Michael.

The picture was taken with my 20D and a Zeiss 2,8/28 Distagon

I recently purchased an R2A as well.
Great choice!
I look forward to seeing your photographs!

Just like you - only I am waiting for R3M and 40/1.4 :) But I wont have such a good teacher like you, only me (and RFF of course :)

Btw, Im from Slovakia, but have no idea who the director is :)

Congratulations,

What a great camera and lens to get started.

ps developing film isn't that difficult once you get the bloody stuff loaded on the spiral holder

Once I get back from my trip (around the 4th) I'll deffinetly be ordering either an R3M or R3A (if I can find one!) and a whole slew of accessories and film. I can't wait and congratulations on your purchase as well!

Thanks for all the encouragement ! Blacklight, the director is Rupert Dubsky. He works in Swtzerland at the moment...

Congratulations. It's such a great camera. I use it primarily with the 35mm and 50mm lenses. Film development is a real pleasure after you get the routine down. I use the self threading Paterson reels/tank. Never could get the hang of the stainless steel reels.
