Does the Zorki 3/3M have the same viewfinder as the Zorki 4/4K? I have a 4K an although the viewfinder is bright, I can't see the edges of the viewfinder because I wear glasses. This makes framing a shot a little too cumbersome. I was wondering if I would have the same problem on a 3 or 3M?

I've just compared my 4K and 3M and the viewfinders look identical to me - you'd certainly have trouble seeing the edges if you wear glasses.

Thanks oscroft. That's a disappointment. I love the look of 3/3M's but that won't do me much good if I can't use it!

The 3M has diopter adjustment. You may be able to use it with out your glasses. Not sure but it looks like a +/- 2 in strength.

The 4 & 4K are just a 3M with a flash synchroniser and self-timer added, as far as I know. I don't own a 3 so I can't make a comparison but I'd put money on the finder being identical. Is the dioptre correction not enough for you to use without glasses?

I confirm that. It's the same.

Another major difference from my point of view: the 3M is much more prettier than the 4/4K 🙂
... and better built, easy to handle...etc.

Best,

I certainly agree with that 🙂 I think it's the best looking of all the FSU rangefinders

I'd agree it's one of the best-looking russians but a 4/4K isn't ugly (personal opinion) and is a bit more usable, cheaper and a lot easier to get hold of!
