The LEICA S1 digital camera from 1997

This is just for the story, the first (?) digital LEICA S1 from 1997.
I found the brochure in some old papers wile i was cleaning up my dark room.
Interesting to see how things are changing and the price to, this camera-body was sold for 15.370 EURO (1997) the M8 for 4.200 EURO...

I seem to remember that this camera was tethered, it could only be used in a studio and with a cable to a computer.

Also, I bought a Leica Digilux (1.5MP) at about the same time. Made by Fuji. It's still useful for eBay photos.

Look at the disign, nothing to compare with the M3, but not bad at all for the wight of 3,6 Kg...
