We spoke on the phone and agreed to meet in a pub carpark, If my wife found out she would divorce me,I have Lusted after so many others before, this one was circa 1955, so she could not accuse me of (getting another new one).
I got to the carpark first, and sat waiting in anticipation, cash in my pocket waching for the other car to pull up next to me. when it arrived I got into the other car and we talked for a little whle before deciding Well you show me yours and I will show you mine,
I undone the straps and released the Leather protective cover and my object of desire came into sight. A wave of disappointment came over me, wrong colour, wrong weight ,too old. We said our goodbye's and drove off, no deal today.
I am looking for another one now slimmer and black, a M6 I think

If you knew it was circa 1955, I assume you knew it would be an M3 -- or were you expecting something else? Our curiosity is piqued. (Nicely told, though!)

Hi Cameramanic,

Just had a look on your Blog. For somebody who is learning to write (as stated in your blog) you sure are learning quickly! I like the photo's. Great that your work brings you so frequently to different places.

Nothing wrong with the m6(ttl) in my opinion. Have one (0.85) for some years now and like very much. Use it more than the m4.

Why did you stop digital. Is it RF vs DSLR or film vs digital?

Keep chasing. Roel
