Folks,
I just picked up a used copy of a CV Ultron 28mm. For those who have it or used it in the past .. is your preference w/or w/out the lever? I'd have to buy one to try it so just wanted to see if it was worth it. Personally I like it on my CV 35 Skopar and the Jupiter 8 that I have.

Thanks,
kenwrick

I like it on the smaller lenses (e.g., 28/3.5) but removed it from the Ultron. Big enough to focus quickly without lever (feels similar to a Nokton), and the lever would always get stuck in the bag.

Roland.

I like it on mine....I usually don't focus with the rangefinder but in close it helps especially very close......my finger tip kinda rolls along the top and it finds focus easy....

Mine is on and I use it. I hate the big focus tabs like on the 35 Summicron, but the little CV sticks work for me.

We're still in the honeymoon stage, but I'm using and liking it. It is a little long - I'm tempted to break out the Unimat and make something fatter and shorter.

Never use it, took it off and put the blanking screw back, gets caught in tripod base, neck strap etc, the lens is fat enough not to need it

I can focus mine fine without the tab. I might prefer a bigger, normal-sized tab, but the little screw-on nub is a joke, IMHO.

Don't suppose anyone has a spare lever, I would like to try one on my 28/1.9

Or can anyone tell me where I may find one in the UK?

Cheers
