I searched the forum and could not find any info on some sort of belt case for the M3. Does anyone know of one or can point me in the right direction? Want something so I can carry a M3 like a cell phone (before they got so small).

Thank you in advance.

Here are some possible options if you want to use some sort of belt kit

Kinesis Photo Gear make some good pouches and modular belt kit

Also Newswear.Com

I have some of these they would fit an M3:

Also the Billingham AVEA 5 or AVEA 6 pouches can clip on a belt and offer good waterproof protection

In the same link above there are some Domke pouches which may fit the bill too.

I've always thought a Leica "holster" would be a good product. It would be a kind of vertical sideways half case with a cutout round the lens mount and made of stiff leather. The camera would go in left-side-down. I even came close to sending a suggestion for a design to Luigi but then I realised that there are some size variations between M models and also that a lot of people have accessory finders and meters in the hotshoe that might get in the way too.

Welcome to the forum!

Your search missed this thread from just over a year ago:

A good leather worker should be able to make one for you.

Yeah, I started that old thread, and haven't done a damn thing about it. :bang: It's still something I'd like to do, though.

Thank you for input. I thought I saw something like this somewhere but a long time ago. Anyway, I was hoping to buy something (if reasonable) but will have to rethink this.

It’s a bit amazing knowing that these cameras have been around so long and there seems to be some interest.

If I come up with a solution, I will post the info here.

Again, thank you everyone.
