Hey everyone,
I gave my brand new Bessa R a run for its money, it came in the mail and came straight to FL the sam day, and got broken in at a huge car race at the Daytona Speedway! It was great way to get used to it, and tested hard since I need to really rely on what I was shooting with! It passed the test!

Thanks! Sure, all of these were shot on Fuji's Neopan 100, I like the fine grain of the Neopan, I also shot some of these with Kodak's 100TMax which is also a pretty nice film, as far as processing, just dropped at my lab, who are thankfully trustworthy! Negatives and a hi res CD picked up 3 days later, sorry I dont know more as far as their processing, I recently moved back to VA, so I havent really gotten too in sync with this new lab yet, Im getting ready to set up my darkroom in a spare bathroom soon though 🙂 I highly recommend the Neopan is your local shop carries it, its also super cheap on BH, last time I looked. 🙂

nice work - not used to seeing races shots from a rangefinder😀😀

Just a word of critique, if I may, and that would be to slow the shutter just enough to get some wheel blur to give a sense of motion - in some of them the cars look like they're standing still. Hope you don't mind.

No I definitely dont mind, those, of course were shot with the "Pro" kit, DSLR etc, it was intensely sunny when I shot the bulk of these, even with an ND4 on, I just couldnt keep the shutter open long enough to get the effects i wanted? Granted, it was my 1st race shoot, so next time ill be a little more prepared, I definitely know what youre saying though! The speed blur in some of the shots worked well, just the tire blur was tricky! Thanks for looking though! Always love critique
