Hi, hope someone can help.
Is there anywhere locally that I can get a M to LTM adapter?
If not locally then what would the next best option be? ( I prefer to stay off ebay)
Thanx for any help!

Hi David, have you tried Henry's in Newmarket? They'd have to ship it from their DT store, but they might have it.

Excellent possibilities - I'll try them - Fotoworks first - don't know why I never thought about them - that's where I go to get my film developed , though last time I was in he told me he was outsourcing his developing.

Yes, he's given up developing film. I think it was costing more to keep the machines in chemicals and repair than sending it out to a larger lab.thirteen said:that's where I go to get my film developed , though last time I was in he told me he was outsourcing his developing.

A while back, Merkle Camera at the corner of 401 & Victoria Park had LTM -> M adapters. Not sure about it now.

I think it will be cheaper to order it online. It's $90CAD at harrys pro shop whereas camera quest sells them for $40US. I've seen them at even cheaper prices on e[P]ay - approx. $25US.
The only thing is, I've heard of one case where one of the eBay adaptors actually broke.. Don't think I want to risk that.
Camera quest is probably your best option.

Dave,
Hold on... are you asking for an "M to LTM" or an "LTM to M" adapter? ( I figure you're asking for the latter but the way you've posed the question may suggest the former ).
People have already mentioned a number of suggestions, and, knowing where you are located, I would try to get somewhere close to where you are, but failing that I know that Pingle's suggestion (Downtown Camera) definitely has the CV ones..
Cheers

Hi Dave:
Bit confusing. I figured M>LTM because the camera is M bayonet to the lens - a 1948 Elmar 5cm/3.5 I just picked up.
On the other hand I could be totally ass backwards.
Given the situation what is the official way??

Hey Dave
I think you've clarified it and I think everyone except me understood what you were saying
I don't think there is a "correct" way.. I'm sure you'll enjoy that lens though
Cheers
