The event is held every year on May Bank Holiday (UK) at Ramsbottom, Lancashire. Many people join in including some of the shopkeepers in the area, getting dressed in clothes of the day, both civilian and miltary. The steam trains run up and down the line and there are military vehicles on display and also a battle re-enactment on the railway platform. The shots were taken on two seperate occaisions. Not always easy to avoid getting other visitors in view but if you get in close it's not too bad. This set of five shots was printed as a double page portfolio.
