... especially my fellow C'nucks....
Please have a look at the following link:

Photosho magazine showcases Canadian photographers... first issue will be out in March I believe (may have to check on that). Just trying to gather some support for a local/domestic product - kinda like drinking Molson instead of Krusovice, although I enjoy the latter just the same. I have no connections with the creator aside from submitting a photo for their theme-based content.
Hope this little plug is okay here on RFF. From what I've read here in the forums, the majority of members seem to be amateurs & hobbyists (correct me if I'm wrong) so I thought that perhaps the link above may be of some interest...

Nice storm shot. I am a little confused. Is this to going to be a print magazine or online? Are all the shots in the Flickr group part of it?
If you are thinking print, I wish you luck but just recently the Edmonton-based photojournalism mag, C-Ing, suspended publication due to lack of advertising support.
Having been involved with magazines off and on, it's a tough row to hoe. The future is online.
I am playing around with an online neighboruhood news letter:

It needs updating... well, soon.

Easyrider, Photosho is a printed magazine $10.00CAD at the moment (early bird special)... not all the Flickr images will be in it. From what I know, every issue will have a theme in which Canadian photogs can then submit a photo to. No need to be a pro photographer to submit as anyone of any skill can send a picture. Of course the photos are edited, but the "theme" is open to interpretation.
