Every week we have the Gallery Picks thread. A place where we can commend photos we've seen in the gallery over the past seven days. It has always been in the General Discussion forum but recently it's been moved to the RFF Projects forum.
Photos are at the heart of what we do with our cameras. Where do you think Gallery picks belongs?

Ignore It (It'll go away)
Even though I haven't participated much in them recently, I think you know where my vote goes (same box as yours, I assume).

Thank you RayPA. I think you started these threads and now there's a group of us and if one doesn't start Gallery Picks on a Monday morning somebody else will. Why don't you join in again?

I was wondering where the picks had gone...
Definitely general discussion - most logical & accessible place imho..

Overweight and over here
I've been working away for the last few weeks and my visits have been infrequent - haven't voted for a while...but I believe the gallery is the most important part of RFF and that not only should the 'gallery picks' be left in a prominent place but that it deserves sticky status for those of us who might not be around on the monday/tuesday start...

It's 12 votes and it's 100% for keeping Gallery Picks in General Discussion. It's a clear choice and there's no hanging chads here.

Maybe people did not read the censorship thread because this sub topic is a bit of an offshoot of that thread.
And I did not know that there is an RFF Poll forum. Sorry.
I know how you feel about quitting. Please don't think about it any more: you are one of the strengths of this site.
Take a camera, go out, have a beer, forget RFF and see you tomorrow.

Now seriously guys. This poll has no real point except some people feeling they were unasked before the transfer.
The gallery picks thread stays on the rff front page if it is active enough. Otherwise it can be found about as difficult in any forum as in the one it sits now.
All this is just my oppinion of course. My two cents. My view of the things.

I also wish I had time to be more active in this, THE best ongoing thread, on RFF. I had suggested making it a sticky too but no one responded to that.

I'd like to have a look on Monday...
What's the time factor? Jerusalem, Athens and Helsinki are GMT+2,
or 10 hours ahead of Pacific Standard Time.
Thanks, mike

If nobody else starts the thread I do Monday mid-morning GMT.
I include any photos I've seen since last Monday mid-morning and do not over worry about time zones stuff.
Your morning in Israel happens before my morning in western Europe so feel free to start the thread over your cornflakes, and I'll add to it later.

I think Gallery Picks should be wherever it is most prominent when one logs in to the site.
BTW, Jon,
Did anyone ever tell you that you look like Sean Connery? ;-)

RF's ROCK!andFilm RULES!!
Where else should it be than in the GD Forum?
I say it is very appropriate there!
Thanks Jon for putting these photographs out there.
I'd say you are doing a community service of sorts.

You do a very good job. But I think there are too many subforums here now, and that gallery picks should stay in general discussion.
