Resized Thumbnails break up

Most pix done for illustrative purposes, such as those of a camera...
are shot with the Canon S410 digicam. Resizing is done with the free
and excellent Irfanview v 3.99 photo editor.

In posting to the Forums... these are usually OK.
In posting to Go Advanced>Manage Attachments... or Thumbnails, invariably
the enlarged,
illustrative photo breaks up!

Can someone explain this and help me find a Remedy?

Your problem there, Mike is .jpeg compression. As you repeatedly save and open a .jpeg the compression algorithm is reapplied eventually leading to corruption and the breakup you see. The fix is to create a .tiff or .psd file to work from.
