Hi All...
THE PROBLEM:

BESSA R:
After doing some research on the Bessa R [just arrived, used];
I found some Posts suggesting, The R's RF could get out of alignment
because of [but not necessarily of]... the following:

- Top plate is of thin composite material

- RF Alignment adjustment is located under the flash shoe

BESSA T:
Here, of course, the camera is designed to be used with a VF on the top deck.

Below is my Solution for using Flash on either camera...
A bracket attaches to the bottom of the camera in the tripod screw.
Here the Nikon SB-15 flash unit is linked to the camera by a small,
electronic accessory hot shoe.

So, it is all a matter of taste and comfort zone in working.
Some, may neither need nor want this. For me, it works.
Cheers, mike
NOTE:
When I Resize digicam shots for Thumbnails, the digitized image
begins to break up. I'm using Irfanview, which usually works well.
HELP with this problem appreciated!

Hi Mike,

if it's a problem with jpeg compression, then you should adjust jpeg compression in the save dialog. The jpeg compression is set by a slider in a separate window beside the save dialog, but you have to enable it by some check box or something...

For the T, there used to be a shoe doubler available, basically it was a piece of metal with two shoes at the top and a slider on the bottom to place into the camera's shoe. I think it was discontinued due to underwhelming demand..

Brackets like the one shown here make more sense..
