Brian, here's something similar but in an evergreen redwood forest.
Noctilux.
Noctilux.

Beautiful shot.
Noctilux is on my List.
I love swirly Bokeh. I can take a shot of my daughter, and a Summarit will make the world revolve around her.

Finally finished the roll I was working on!
Canon 50/1.2 wide open. Two shots from inside the galleries at the Australian War Memorial. In part, wide-open aperture is required here for the low ambient light levels, and also concentrates the attention on the selected focus point.
In the second shot, my difficulty in using this lense wide-open was in selecting the focus-point. Even for statuary, this would normally be the eyes, but here it is shot from the back. The span between the statue's hands is about 15cm (6 inches). I think I settled for the right shoulder.
For those who might be aware that I have a 50/1.2 with a hazy fungus-etched element - yes - and these photos were made with my other 50/1.2, which has clear elements!

Ned, how do you build it into your life ?
Do you take them to work ? On dog walks ?
I only take my MP out on excursionse every few weeks , or so.
Be interesting to hear how you use them on such a frequent basis.

I shoot it whenever I can. Since opportunities are everywhere and happen every second, it's really a matter of optimizing the 15 minutes walk around the block (Can indeed be a walk with the dog, a drive around the block, having a coffee with a friend and shoot around before and after).
Everything is good. And the Noctilux being synonymous of "what was impossible is now possible", it helps tremendously.
