Before we lose power again I'd like to get this posted. The other day I dug out my wifes N2000 and SB 15 Speedlight and found that the Speedlight didn't charge up? Pulled the batteries just to discover the expiration date was 2003. Everything was corroded.I cleaned the unit as much as I could to no avail. I decided to toss it out. I installed new batteries in the N2000 and discovered that it wasn't responding. The red warning light blinked. You guessed it the camera batteries were equally old. Installed new batteries...nothing but the red blinking light. Right now I'm hoping against hope that the camera is salvagable. So while I've always thought myself aware it turns out I'm not. Is there any wizened reader who can offer some salient advice before I throw the camera out too?
My only advice...check batteries!
