Any chance of a quick overview of what it says about it? (I don't know any German).

Most of it is the usual stuff about postage, no guarantee of any kind etc...
The camera is described as coming from a private collection which is being broken up. It has a a self timer and "is very rare". It has (it says here) an original leitz Elmar which has a "screw" missing and has evidently had the infinity lock disabled.
Cheers, Ian

hey, they're only Zorkis
8 bids @ $108 6 days before closing... oooookay. This could get silly.

Without the screw it might be difficult to unmount the lens from body...
If only they made more Zorki 2
They have strap-lugs, and the shutter speeds can be changed even before advancing the film... although the self-timer is useless to most of us...

Screwy
All the gear no idea
Must be the Elmar , I picked a Zorki 2 up the other week and it was 1 bid (mine), though I did pay 70 Euro ($93.00).CVBLZ4 said:8 bids @ $108 6 days before closing... oooookay. This could get silly.

I got the exact same set up and it's great. I bought a Domki strap for the Zorki and it looks cool. The zorki is a 58 model and the elmars serial #s on Stephen Gandys lens chart make it a 1945 model. Bought the camera from a US seller (not this lens) on ebay for less than 30 bucks and it came with a leitz ablong to cut the film leader. Got lucky on that deal.

Here's another at a slightly inflated price. But a very unique "Zorki" engraving.
Anyway, back to the subject... From time to time I've kept my eye out for a Zorki.2, but the prices always scared me off - though that hasn't always been the case with other Russian objects of my desire.
And yeah, everybody gets 'em for cheap, but the only ones I see are in the $200 - $300 range. Yikes/No thanks.
Not that many of 'em out there, I know, but it's kinda-sorta hard to BIN that much just to add what in my mind is basically another *Zorki.1 w/ self-timer + Zorki.5 shutter mech.* I don't use the ST, lugs just aren't that important and my Zorki.1c has 8 speeds.
Do I sound like I'm trying to talk myself out of something here?
Maybe some Two owners can tell me how super they are and help me with what makes a Zorki.2 sell for so much $$.
