After much reading and google hours, I am wondering what mods or upgrades are available for the M3. I've read about paint/black chrome, viewfinder upgrades, M4P, M4-2, control replacements, film advance, self timer lever, frame selector, and loading system.
My question is what are the options that can be done, money not withstanding?

That is one

That is one

I saw that earlier. I didn't know about the finder. How mwny others are there?

Built-in frame line finders are from 28-135mm

Any other focal length lens will require slip-on finders

I have an early model M3 that has been extensively modfied:

-- M4 style flash sockets installed
-- M2 viewfinder installed (adds 35mm frame lines)
-- M4 film take spool (and auto frame counter reset)
-- single stroke conversion
-- new top plate
-- Cameraleather red covering

By the way, make me an offer, it's for sale...

>Post a picture then...

I need to find 'em again.

I did post some some time ago in one of the "look at my cool camera" threads. You might search back through my postings...

>Look here

Note that that camera is Mr. Blackwell's, not mine.

Hi Art,

other than new leather, a Quickload kit, a grip and/or half case I recommend
leaving it as it is. Consider buying a second body, if you want different
viewfinder, controls, etc.

Best,

Roland.
