 I just picked up my less than week old bessa R3a (which I have treated as carefully as I would a raw egg), to discover that the focussing patch has "moved" relative to the framelines (or have the framelines moved?); focus patch is now located more to the left and upwards, all framelines still visible. I suspect that some kind of mirror has moved soewhere, and guess I 'll have to send camera back to cameraquest (I have become addicted to the camera, and will miss it very much).
Any comments? Do you think that focus will still be correct, even as the patch has moved? Or is this rather the dreaded frameline misalignment that I've heard about, and so will affect composition rather than focus?

Thank you, I hope so! I had no idea! Perhaps I should try to erase this thread in pure embarrasment, but, on the other hand, more novices might have the same problem.

Relax. You're neither the first to be alarmed at this, nor the first to post such a question on rff.

Enjoy the Bessa R3A. I'm planning to get one after summer.
