Can you spend just a few minutes to help me with a project?

I did the survey last night.
Based on a number of questions that were either not applicable or were lacking choices in order to answer, I respectfully suggest that you confer with a photographer or two next time you design a survey, in order to get better and more complete results.
Having said that, good luck with your project.

But it may also be the case that outside the "developed" world film still rules?

Nope. They may be getting their first camera ever, but they're moving straight on to digital. The same generation-skipping phenomenon occurs with most technology types; there isn't, for example, a booming gramophone industry in China or Africa.

Did the survey, though.

I jsut did mine, too, but I think it needs a couple other questioning branches to it, but I also understand that it is for a class project, not to explore our needs.

Am I the only one skeptical of this? Clearly "she" joined RFF just to post this.
If I were interested in marketing, I doubt I'd choose cameras to study...

Actually, I joined the forum to read comments from photographers who use RF cameras. After reading through some of the messages, I thought you all might be able to help me. And I really do appreciate your help, and have read through all the comments.

As I said, I'm not a great photographer and don't know nearly as much about it as any of you (nor do the other members of my team, obviously, given the comments on our survey design!) But we chose to study about cameras because it was interesting to all of us and something we all had at least some experience with. We've definitely learned a lot.

I'm sure many of you will probably find our conclusions trivial or wrong, but the point is less about accuracy (at least for me) and more about learning and experiencing a new world. Thanks to all of you who helped!

I'll post the link to the final project after June 2. Since I am reading your comments, any other insightful input you might have is appreciated!

Amy-
Looking forward to seeing your results, and hope your class is rewarding and a success.

Chris-
Until I read Amy's last post, I sort of discounted your skepticism. Now I'm convinced, she's clearly collecting targeting information for Al Qaeda, the CIA, or more likely both.

Yeah!!! Maybe her project isn't really the poll but to see what our reactions are to the poll!

Or she's a witch.
Amy, I'm sorry but if you float, we'll have to burn you.:D *

Chris, I'm not sure what's to be skeptical about, beyond my computer's IP address, don't think I've given away any personal info and she's been back twice since her first post to respond to the comments here.
