I was cosidering buying a DVD player for my children, but I was worried which juices they would pour down the player! In the end, I recalled having an old laptop computer that has not been used for two years. It has a CD drive. I gave it today to Dana to use it for her DVD needs. I am happy to have "recycled" an old PC! I asked Dana to keep it away from Lina and her Juice bottles.

Maybe I should have had a question or a poll here, but I don't. I just wanted to share with you what I "found" tonight. Next, I need some DVD's by Disney with stars such as Cinderella and Aurora (Mermaid) and Snowwhite.

I've bought several laptops from the Goodwill. The money goes toward a worthy cause, and you get a decent computer in return.

I bought my daughter a slightly older Compaq that has plenty of speed. I added memory and a new hard drive. Works perfectly.

This was after she infected my PC with some type of Trojan horse virus.

Is she actually supposed to watch the DVDs? In that case a CD drive won't do the job.

Oops. I did not know this. I guess, a friend of mine watches movies on his laptop, so I thought that it is possible.

On the other hand, it is a DVD drive, so there is no problem. I should not have called it a CD drive.
