after being lost in some warehouse for 3 or 4 days, the cv 50/2.5 has finally arrived today. actually i had to go and pick it up...

what a hefty little thing, looks quite well made, smooth focus, feels quite nice on the r4m. much like the cv 28/3.5

my r4 kit is now complete.

i am waiting on another domke f6 bag (ordered before the new car) and i might order that 50 rolls of apx 100 film so i know that i'll have back up stock for when the car payments start;)

all this buying and selling, trying and selling has been a blast...i'm gonna miss it;)

Some of my friends say that they've quit smoking.... only until they come up to another 7-eleven ;)

no smokes now for well over 3 years...the stogies were the hard ones to quit.

as of today my gas is limited to film and chemicals.

from now on it's PAS (photo aquisition syndrome)

However, nothing beats the satisfaction of a well-stocked freezer (we're talking Kodachrome in 64 and 200, Velvia in 50 and 100, lots of Provia and Ektachrome in 400, and a nice, healthy pile of Ilford stuff). No tobacky in the world can match that! :)

BTW, I quit cold turkey in 1989. And then became allergic to the stuff!

Been to too too many (friends) funerals this year. Be happy you were not one of the celebrants. Take photos, spend money, enjoy.

Save up for some thing for Xmas, and I dont mean my alter ego.

Yeah that 50/2.5 is a hefty little chunk of glass. I'm liking it for its reliable ability to deal with lens flare that my other 50's can't handle.

I'm allergic to tobacco. I love cigars and my Dr is okay with it. I don't think I ever heard you mention you liked cigars. The Brit's have it right.... cigars and porto! I follow their fine tradition.

1st off, Good thing you had the Chrysler to go pick up your lense.

2nd....With the R4m now being complete, what more could a man desire?

3rd....Confuscous say:Too much film in the fridge is good way to loose weight.

1. i'm liking my transportation more and more, especially the a.c. as it's been in the 30s here.

2. i love the r4m and all the cv lenses.
just finished reading some reviews (sean reid) on the cv glass and it's great glass.

3. not so much...;)

Yeah, those two have the best feel of the screw-thread CV lenses I've got - they feel more chunky and "metal" than the others.
