Hi, someone knows how the M6 Millennium differs from the M6,
except the color?
Viewfinder? Electronics? Film advance? Shutter?

M6M is a M6TTL with a brass top in black paint, so it's different from a regular M6.

Well the list is updated after I'm provided here with new serials; seems that the last one I got was back in 2016 :bang:

Leica M6 Millennium nr. 2000/1508; GHOST SALE
Just a warning: some trusted platforms might not be as correct as one should think. Just this weekend (June 7-9 2025) Leica Millennium 1508 was offered by Catawiki. Since I follow sales I found it very peculiar looking at present prices that the so-called expert of Catawiki had put this camera for offer apparently at a very low reserve price of about Euro 2000 - which of course very soon was met. Since the photos looked familiar to me and the catawiki seller had no track record, I only had to do a little search to find out that the camera was still on offer on Ebay by its Japanese owner (most offerings are from Japan as already some members stated on this forum).
I had a quick chat with the Japanese owner who stated nothing having on sale with Catawiki - and also stated to be the owner, and having the camera already sometime on sale with Ebay.
Of course I warned Catawiki, but they neglected my warning and 'sold' the camera anyway to a german buyer, who in the end bought it for a little more that Euro 7000. The sale can be find here:
www.catawiki.com
(there is no possiblity provided by Catawiki to chat with sellers)
Very frustrating when these platforms are charging buyers (9%+) and sellers (12% +) big money on a sale, but neglect their job to do everything possible to ascertain that they do not offer stolen goods or make themselves accomplice in a ghost sale.....

I am thinking of parting ways with my baby. My son asked about my opinion of buying an M2 or M3 this weekend. I will be passing along something. Maybe my M2, but maybe my Millenium???
I don't know if I can do it.
(I told him he will be putting the M3 in the casket with me, so he has no chance for that.)

LoL, my M6 Mill is destined for my daughter when they've put me in my casket...at least that is what she is telling me every now and thenI am thinking of parting ways with my baby. Very welcome, - camera is looking great and now on the list!Just learned about this list and is happy to be part of the club - 2501576.
I bought my camera back in 2023 in pristine condition except for some brassing on the lugs.
It has since been my daily and now have minor brassing especially on the film advance and rewind lever. 🥇

This is one of the best looking Leicas ever made. I've thought about getting one for years and years, but I hardly shoot film any more!

Great effort, Ron. Gives me an idea to create such a list of serial numbers for the LHSA hammertone MP.

The black paint finish is very pretty.
I bought an M6 TTL with 0.85x finder, in black chrome, earlier in the year. That's the perfect M6 for me.
The black paint would be nice, but eh? I spend more time looking through a camera than looking at it.

I was using an M6 TTL and wanting to treat myself with an upgrade as a 'forever' camera. I love the TTL's large shutter dial and the 'correct' way it spins
but did not like the type of film rewind lever.
Considered getting a new MP but later learnt of this model with TTL's shutter dial and the older rewind lever!
The black paint is just cherry on top

Hmm. All of my Ms have always been "forever cameras" ...
