W/NW : Motorcycles

Looks like the same guy owns two Triumphs.

Good eye, besk, I agree. I took a hard look at both pictures because I was so surprised to see two Triumph Trophy's and I wondered if it was the same bike with a different gas tank. After looking closely I came to the conclusion that it was two different bikes and the same owner.

I was waiting to cross the street and I could hear/see this guy having a hard time kick starting his motorcycle.

Out of curiosity I walked over to see what kind of motorcycle it was. I almost messed my pants when I saw it was a pristine BSA!
I asked if I could take a picture and he smiled and stepped back while I took a picture.
Soon after he started the bike and roared off down the road.

A beautiful BSA A65 Lightning I believe. I had a couple of BSA's back in the day but this was way beyond my means. Thanks for the memories Mike.
 
I remember the rumor that there aren't many older BSAs because of their propensity of the engine seizing up. But it might have been another hot bike from that time period.
