Hi everyone

Some bad news for budget-conscious film photographers - after noticing its absence at the Poundland stores near me, I sent a message to customer services to be told that Agfa Vista Plus 200/24 film has been discontinued, even though it's still showing on the company's website (http://www.poundland.co.uk/agfa-vista-plus-camera-film-200-24).

I believe it was discontinued once before a couple of years ago but brought back by 'popular demand'. Not sure if the same thing could happen again!?

Best wishes

Ian

Bought some from one of their Swansea stores yesterday - couple of dozen still left on shelf.
Dated December 2018.

In Spain still available but not at these super low prices. I emailed yesterday tu lupus imaging media and got the reply that this was still available, but foto.r3, the leading spanish analogue distributor, told me otherwise.
This is the latest link, as og today, february 2nd, 2018, only ISO100 appears to a¡have been axed

Agfa Vista has disappeared from many Australian retailers. It's very disappointing as I was going to buy a big batch and keep it in the freezer. I like the 70's/early 80's style of colour it seems to produce.

It has been officially discontinued, sadly. Luckily, it's the same exact film as Fujifilm C200 which as far as I know, is still available (but more expensive).

Hi,

It was interesting how it disappeared. I decided having done some research and tested it to buy a lot and so, every time I walked past a Poundland shop I'd go in and buy ten pounds worth.

Thinking about it I used the smart phone to record how much was in the box one day to see how much sold each week and so see how many film users there were in my part of the world.

The last time I saw it they'd put out two large bulk boxes of it with some still in bricks (wrapped in tens from memory) and I wondered if I ought to buy twenty pounds worth as they obviously thought it would sell well. Alas, I didn't but that has to do with my wife's comments about 'fridges.

The next week they'd gone for good. I often wonder what they did with them.

Regards, David

I bought this roll for 2£ in Poundland today, cassette is made out of plastic with no ISO code and only 10 shots per roll. expires 2020. I don't think I will be buying more of it, but I guess it's ok if you need to check cameras etc...
