1.8/35 Nikon to Leica adapter
Wondering if anyone has experience with the Nikon-Leica Venezuela made adapter as auctioned on ebay with this lens.
I'm not going to put out the kind of money for the original Orion adapter so this is the only other option I see.

No experience, but Brian Sweeney recently was adjusting one of these adapters. With a 35mm lens, depth of field starts to cover the differences in in focus between Nikon and the Kiev/Contax helical that most of these adapters are based on.
EDIT: Brian Sweeney, of course, can shim and modify just about anything.

Depth of field for a 35/1.8 wide open at 3-foot close focus is 2.625 inches, compared to 1 inch for 50/1.4 ... so the 35/1.8 if more forgiving. You probably want a adapter that's accurate for the 50mm lens, in case you ever want to by more lenses (Nikkors in Nikon-S mount are cheaper than Nikkors in LTM).
