In SF for next 4 days. Any suggestions on local stores (Weston, Hollywood, Ft. Lauderdale, Aventura, etc.) that might stock 120 Tri-X 400 or other BW 120 film? Perhaps in Ft. Lauderdale, Aventura, etc. Would prefer to avoid an overnight or 2-day online order unless there is no alternative. Any pointers much appreciated.

I don't shoot film and, living in ESF (Extremely South Florida, aka Key West), I don't frequent physical stores way, way up on the mainland but you might check with these:
Dale PhotoDigital / Dale Laboratories in Hollywood (not far from Weston)
Pitmam Photo, south of Miami on US1/South Dixie Highway

I suggest your consider the trade off of B&H next day shipment costing $28 vs. the cost and time to drive from Weston down to Hollywood or some other place. Then you have to figure in the price differential for the film as well as sales tax.
I would believe an overnight shipment from B&H or someplace similar would be your most economical option.

I used to have that problem all the time. I would say "LA", and people thought I was talking about some town in California, when what I was actually referring to was Louisiana.

This is good advice. I did something of that sort when I had to make a quick trip down to New Orleans, and I wanted some T-Max 3200. I called the camera stores within 10 miles of my downtown hotel, and I couldn't find any that had the film. So I picked up the phone and called Freestyle. My film arrived two days later. It was completely painless, and while the shipping was not exactly cheap, it was a whole heck of a lot less hassle than trying to track down film in an unfamiliar city.
