Hey all. I am in dire need of a good quality super wide. I will be hitting Sedona, Flagstaff and a few other places along the drive. I also plan on hitting the canyon. Now I want to capture as much as I can... as such, I am trying to decide between grabbing a Bessa L and heliar 15/4.5 or the Hologon.

Ideas? Suggestions? Comments?

Well...as far as I know, the Hologon will not fit on the Bessa L, so that pretty much narrows it down right there....The Heliar is a great lens, particularly if you stop it down to f/8 to f/11. I am sure the Hologon is also excellent, but unless it is completely useable at f/8, then you may find it too slow in all but the brightest light.

I have a G1 (21/28/35/45/90), and was trying to decide between buying a cheap new camera, which with the Heliar is cheaper than the Hologon. Thanks for the input.
