16x12 print

hello everybody in the USA from here in Wales!!i'm thinking of buying a XA compact .is the lens good enough to enlarge the negatives to 16x12 for camera club competitions etc?(if it not which one would you recommend,how about a rc or rd version's)would welcome all your advice.

Intriguing question, I'd like to believe that if you load a Velvia 50 into an XA, you'll get slides that when scanned properly, will yield poster-size pictures with the signature characteristics of the tiny albeit 6-element XA lens (coool..!)

I haven't try it, but if you'd like to try to print one (digitally), I (as well as other members in this forum) have a lot of XA pictures.

I also a Nikon V coolscan, so I can supply you with hi-resolution XA images (mine mostly black and white shot using Ilford XP2 400).
