#2 has arrived

6-9 Hi,my second Fed2, a d model,arrived today from Oleg.I don't remember it looking this nice on his site.It is too clean.Film is in, on the hunt in the morning.Now if my lenses ever show up I'll really be fired up.A J9, and a J8.Seems to be a problen with the transaction on the 50mm.It's been a month since I sent his money and he swears he hasn't recieved it yet.Are things reallly that slow?Smells like a rip-off to me.Hope not.

Ian,the J9 was purchased from SOVDEPIA,paid through Western Bid,no word from them.Paid in the states though so it'll probley show up.The J8 was purchased from PHOTOBUC.I sent a counter check to him on 19 May,writes me back saying-PAY NOW!I know stuff gets away from the postal guys so I guess maybe concern is a little early.Ebay hasn't flagged me as a non payer yet.We'll see.How long should one wait?

Congrats on the FED. I've purchased twice from SOVDEPIA with no problem. Prompt both times. (...though their lack of padding in shipping is diplorable! One Zorki.4 arrived in a no case/no bubble-wrap envelope! 🙄 )

Robin, I'm sure they'll turn up. Checks and e-cheques often take a while to clear, especially through a third party like Western Bid. I have had very similar trouble - including the irate seller. it will doubtless work out - perhaps you could check if the cheque has been cashed yet, just to make sure it arrived.
