A friend gave me two unopened boxes of Haloid photopaper. The box that I have in frront of me right now is 10X10", 100 sheets. It expired April, 1954. The box label also lists the emulsion as 10573, Type 1, Contrast 4, single weight, glossy. There is a label on the back of the box that lists a US Army specification # 75-157D. There is another box, also sealed of much larger sheets as well (10X20"). Does anyone know what this is or if it is still any good? and if so, anyone care to take it off my hands? Any info would be appreciated. thanks

From the size quoted, it could well be intended for contact prints from aerial film. If you try a few test strips use a red safelight, not an amber one.

There are various versions of low-fog developer additives, but you won't know if they are needed until you try it. I'd be surprised if anyone thought it was valuable though - just a photographic curiosity.
