24-90 Elmarit or 28-50 Tri-Elmar?

This has been a long debate for me...
I own a 28-35-50, really like its compact size, although image quality was not as good as the latest primes. I also test-drove the 24-90 in the Leica store, appreciate the auto-focus, but not the weight and size. However, I have never compared it side by side as I never owned a 24-90. I heard from people who owned both that the IQ is comparable. The price now is also the same used... So I am debating between two plans:
1. Sell 28-35-50, get 24-90, only keep 50 Noctilux 1.0, that's it.
2. Keep 28-35-50, in combination with 50 Noctilux and 90 summicron APO

Any inputs?

I think a lot depends on how useful or important autofocus is for you.

And portability/discreetness.
