28 Summicron photos

Oh hey Nick
What a Fun project...
Loved shots 1 and 5

Hope You did a set with the ricoh GR / their new third version would be tres cool

I find 28 a difficult perspective. A tad too close for my taste but I will soon take on the challenge digitally with the new ricoh

My preferred focal lengths are 50 and 21

Great Stuff, look forward to viewing more of your
28 adventure !

Thanks for the feedback so far...

In terms of choosing 28 favourite 35mm cameras I tried to choose a reasonable cross section of my favourites, so I have compacts, rangefinders, SLRs, a couple of digitals etc. Then it was in part which worked best with a 28mm lens, or which came with one etc. And occasionally it caused me to buy a new camera or lens....

One such being the Ricoh GR which is indeed featured ion the project, and was one of my favourites....

My own favourite focal length are, if 2 lenses, a 28 (or maybe a 25 or 25 in some lenses) and a 50, or if one lens a 35. So I have always liked 28, especially for street photography and architecture.

My next project after 28 is 35 which is, as you can guess, 35 favourite cameras with 35 x 35mm lenses. I have nearly finished all the shooting (I think I am on about 30 by now), but am a long way behind on scanning and editing. I had planned then to do a 50 project, but I think I shall put that off as something to look forward to doing in about 5 years time when I need an excuse to run through my entire camera collection again!

Nick
