A while back, my camera fell and basically struck the pavement at a 45-degree angle. The lens hood was dented pretty badly and there was a very noticeable wobble to the lens.
I took it to a place to get it fixed locally in Hong Kong and it removed the wobble temporarily. However, I notice now that the lens is positioned unevenly in the barrel. On one side, it's closer to the barrel than the other side. I've attached an image at the bottom. The left side and right side are not the same distance.
I don't have a digital M but I do have an a7. And from my testing, aside from focusing right down the center, I cannot achieve any level of critical focus.
Is this something that seems like an extremely challenging fix? Or is it better to just offload "as is" to whoever wants it for parts?
Thanks in advance!
