30mm purchase from KEH

Hi,

I've been looking for a 30mm for my xpan. Been watching ebay and the prices they've been selling for there. Last week one went for $3000. KEH has had two for sale for quite a while now in Bargain condition. My xpan is far from mint so I thought I'd just buy from KEH. A few nicks or scratches would have been OK. I figured if there was anything on the lens, I could send it back. Just got the lens. If it would have been listen in LN condition, I would have been happy with it! Case with all the parts in what appears to be mint condition. Hard to figure why they listed it Bargain. Thought I'd pass this on. Great experience.

KEH is usually a very good outfit, and bargain rated equipment can sometimes be very good bets. However, beware that sometimes their bargain really is bargain. So you won't hit the lottery every time.

No center filter in the kit. Although the carry case that it comes with does have a place for one. I checked the box to make sure I wasn't ripped off and there is no center filter included according to what is printed on the Fuji Box.

The Fujinon 30mm does not come with the center filter. It's a great lens. What the XPan was made for!

My experiences with KEH have all been exceptional as well. Bargain often means "we're trying to move it", despite the usual expectation of "its crap we're getting rid of".
