Hi,
I basically turned my Bessa-T into a screw-mount camera having a CV LTM-to-M adapter on it all the time. While mounting my 35/1,7 Ultron it makes some rather loud squeaking and screeching sounds. Its loud enough to be a distraction in a quiet place. The lens mounts ok but not as smoothly as my other lenses. My other lenses all mount perfectly, in fact, without loud noises. This is a very recent development. I tried a different, Bower-brand LTM-M adapter and basically got the same results though it did seem to be just slightly quieter.
Does anybody have any suggestions as what I could do? I'm hoping that the threads on the lens aren't damaged.

All my lenses do this on all my bodies - I always thought this was normal, until I 'heard' a Summicron 50 mount on an M7 at Samy's in LA. Silent (by comparison). I equate this sound with a tight fit, though, and like to know it's on there good.

Really? Perhaps, I'm being paranoid then. I was just concerned since it mounting the Ultron is quite louder than mounting my other lenses and it just started making these loud noises recently.
Out of all my lenses, my 135 Hektor mounts on the quietest and its my oldest being made in 1958.

It sounds like it's your adapter that is making your lens make the squeaky noise when you mount it on the adapter. What brand is it?
Of the four adapters that I have, one of them is made in Japan (some nonbrand, not Cosina); that one makes some noise, but not too bad. The others don't make a peep when I mount it on the lens.

i don't think it's supposed to make any noise going on.
i'd try a q-tip with the tiniest drop of oil on it and run it over the threads of the lens.

The adapter I mainly use is a Cosina-Voigtlander. I have a Bower adapter too. The thing is that only my 35 Ultron makes these noises (on both adapters). My other lenses hardly make any noises when mounting.

A tiny drop of sewing machine oil on a q-tip worked. Now it's as smooth as butter and almost completely silent. I then took the q-tip and I carefully rubbed it on the thread of my other lenses. Now they are all much quieter than before. I'm glad that changing my 35 Ultron isn't going to sound like an Aflac commercial.

Another alternative to oil which is slightly less messy is to gently rub the threads with a graphite pencil.
