Still looking for a well priced 35mm for my T, I know about the Color Skopar pancake. But what about the type c, I'ts bigger but it is suposed to be made witht he same pancake glass. Anyone shooting one?

Quite a few people are shooting them. Many think the ergonomics are better than the cultish pancake mount. Glass is the same either way; AP's test figures years ago were identical, right down to the focal length.

Is the C the same lens as the Classic ?

I believe so. They were released together around 2001, in LTM-mount. Tom A. will know for sure, or you can check the Cameraquest site, but I believe the lens formula was tweaked a little for the M-mount version people call the PII.

All CV 35/2.5 share the same glass elements.

So they do. Makes the C look like a bargain.

Yes it is. It's a great little lens. Very small. Very sharp.

YES I'm really thinking the C for me. $209 from cameraquest looks good
