Has anyone had experience using the 35/1.2 lens on a Bessa T? I hear it's a big, fat lens. Does it obscure the rangefinder at all?

The magnified rangefinder base on the T works well with fast lenses. I have used the T's with 35f1.2, Noctiluxe's and the Summilux 75f1.4. There are certain advantages to use these lenses on the T as you have to use an external finder anyway. This puts the "view" up above the rangefinder and in line with the lens axis.
Never had a problem with the rangefinder being blocked either.

What Tom says!

I use it with the Cosina 35 brightline finder. Complete clearance in the VF (and RF). "Fits it to a T".

I swear that the T was made for that 35/1.2 Beast and I've dedicated my T to that lens. I find that the 35/1.2 is a bit bulky on my MP and M3 but on the Bessa-T it is very nice. The lighter weight of the T offsets the higher weight of the lens. I used to hate the position of the strap lugs on the T. With every lens I mounted on it, the camera would point upwards. When I first mounted the 35/1.2, I immediately noticed that the camera balanced perfectly thanks to the position of the strap lugs. Also, with the metal VC 35 brightline finder, the top edge of the standard hood just brushes the bottom frameline - its just perfect.

I'd once seriously considered using a Bessa T with the VIOOH finder and the lenses I then had, in place of my IIIc.
