I'm having difficulties to bound with R2M. It is lens thing.
J-12 blocks camera meter and Summarit-M 35 is on another camera.
I'm not so much of 50mm lens shooter and my Ultron 28 1.9 blocks too much of R2M viewfinder.
I'm thinking about Nokton 35 1.4 or Ultron 35 1.7 LTM as fast 35mm for low light and fancy bokeh.
Which one intrudes less to R2M VF?

How about a Canon 35/2? It is very small.

I don't think I could add focus tab to this lens. While LTM 35 1.7 Ultron seems to have some space available for it. Even my J-12 has DIY focus tab and it makes huge difference for me.

i take the color-skopar 35mm 2.5 not fast enough for your need either?

I have Summarit 35 2.5 already and I'm thinking of faster 35mm lens for low light, fancy bokeh and low ISO films (like Kodak 50D), but compact. Lens protruding in viewfinder doesn't seems to last long with me

R2+Nokton 35/1,4 was my daily combo for a couple years. The 35/1,4 is one of my favourite lenses.
On the R2, it doesn't intrude in the 35 frames at all at inf-1m ish. With the hood on, a tiny bit of the corner is blocked.

Had both and can confirm Nokton will intrude less (not at all, if I recall correctly) without hood, but hood is recommended, so keep that in mind.

Thank you! Looks like Nokton 35 1.4 is good to try.

I can second the 35/1.4 - it has issues (bokeh?) but draws nicely especially in black and white film.

The LTM 35 1.7 Ultron works fine for me.
