Sorry to start another of those "what lens match the look of this lens" thread
I really like the look of my Cron 50 v3 (pre tab) especially wide open and am wondering which of the 35 Cron has the closest look at F2, would it be v2-v3 (they are of the same optics right?), v4, or ASPH?
Thanks.

The 6 element v3. I've shot 50/2 and 35/2 v3 next to each other, and they are very close. Both optimized for high micro contrast and strong colors.
BTW, 35/2 v2 and v3 are slightly different optically (v3 rear element is larger).

o, thank you, just what I need to know. Didn't know that there is difference between v2 and v3.

The ideal fit is any Leica with the standard .72 magnification.

So back to the question, how does the drawing style vary from v2 to v3 to v4? Are they too subtle to be noticeable?
