4x5's are getting cheaper

Nice! Now you just have to look for a modified baby carrier to add to your watchlist 😉

I also have an Anniversary Speed Graphics, and my brother-in-law is a postman (post office issues new equipment yearly) 🙂 I'll just go for the 2 4x5's off the hip... kinda like a gunslinger with a couple of bazooka's 😀

Congrats, Kin!

And that Grafmatic is going to come handy - provided it has all 6 septums. If not, those can be found on ebay relatively easy. I couldn't tell from the auction photos, but it seems it's missing the ground glass. Nothng serious, you can make one yourself, or get an excellent replacement from SatinSnow (inexpensive and very good, I hear).

BTW; I was watching the same auction for a while 🙂

Nice, especially since Grafmatics alone have been going for $60 to $130 of late. The Anny is a nice camera; enjoy!

The local community college has a course in 4x5 photography. I've been tempted, but have held off for the simple reason that I'm sure if I tried a 4x5 I'd want one ...

Yes, it's missing the ground glass... I've got to make up a few since the other Anny's glass is in somewhat rough shape but very usable, and I'm missing the ground glass on the Baby Graphics.

Funny, but I didn't really care for the Grafmatic, and I already have several film holders. I'll have to see how it works.

Yesterday, while looking for something else, I stumbled over LOTS AND LOTS of N.O.S. Soviet 13x18(5x7?) and 18x24(8x10?) cameras. Most were represented as mid-late 70's production and "new" but packed away until now. Camera, lens, film holder(s), and tripods for $200US or less . Just what I need is another format 🙄 but, dern, these things are pretty!
Of course, this morning I went to specifically look for 'em and can only find one :bang:
should've saved the search I used yesterday :bang:
It's just as well...I guess...

Mmmmm... 4x5 transparency... mmmm. I'm soooooo tempted, but I must reduce my camera inventory first. And I need a new car. And I need to reduce some debt.

But I want one just the same 🙂

If you don't want it, let me know. I love the one I just got.

Imagine the size of the tripod that Gigantor the large format camera would require... and then imagine trying to find some that sells an enlarger large enough to print your negatives.
