50 Summitar results

Let me second the motion by Frank - sweet! Now, how about some specifics on this one?

Best Regards,

Bill Mattocks

Thanks, again.

f2 @ 1/250, Tri-X at 1600, 17.5 minutes in Rodinal 1+50.

That's Tri-x pushed to 1600? Wow, it *has* gotten better over the years. Or maybe it is the Rodinal - I only ever used D76. What did you scan that with, if you don't mind my asking?

And again - lovely.

Thanks, Bill, yeah, that's 1600. Scanned with a CoolScan 8000.

Here's 3200 in HC-110 B, just to get you going...

OK, that does it. I was on the fence about mixing up some chemistry this weekend...now I'm gonna do it.

But all I have is some Delta 100 and Neopan Acros. Dang. No Tri-X. And in this small town - no chance of getting any this weekend. And I'm still stuck with D76. Well, I'll just have to make do.

Best Regards,

Bill Mattocks

PS - I envy both your skills and your scanner! Oh yeah and the lens too. Dang.

Must learn to use a Summitar like that. Super photos. Just think how much better they would be with a modern lens, yeah right. Getting kind of thirsty for some good east coast beer too.

Summitar for the first; Nikkor 85/2 for the second; and a modified Holga for the third.

C'mon down.

Ouaa all shots are great but I do love the dark third one, amazing children face. I'd love to master black and white like those great shots !

Gulp is an understatement. In one word, that really is photography.

I must experiment further with Tri-X.
