Did a quick comparison with my 50mm 1.2s

Obviously the old canon comes out the worst but not by very much and in real life use wouldn't make much difference.

I've always liked it but found it only really works well on a 1 series body.

All that grief is misplaced for sure, it's a wonderful lens in that it's quite sharp at f1.2 and yet still has plenty of character. Works better on the pro bodies with AF accuracy.
