Amazing, a great super fast 50 that does not cost $10000. How is it possible?

No idea. This is a real lens and didn't feel cheap, so far it's a super fun lens.
Very good reviewed here

For those who have used both lenses, how does it compare with the CV 1.1/50?

You don't need another lens, Robert! Should I bring along this lens to Europe? Or the CV 50/1.1? I have both. They weight close to one Pound each.

CV 50/1.1
Both lenses are very good overall, but heavy.

For those who have used both lenses, how does it compare with the CV 1.1/50?
Both lenses are excellent overall, Peter. I could not detect any serious issues with the less expensive 7A lens.
7A weights $400g while CV 50 1,1 weighs 434g. Weight is close to 1 Pound.
[compare with 160g for a Jupiter 3 50/1.5.]

Portrait-session with the theme "text". That's why we have the books and the writing on her body.

Thanks, Raid. I have the CV 1.1/50...heavy and not easy to use. Bit like the Canon 1.2/85, also known as 'the pineapple'.
